Jeřábek Studio
Privacy
I use the details you send me only to answer you and to do my work. I do not sell them, I do not send you advertising, and this website does not track you.
In short
- What I collect: only what you type into a form or write in an e-mail.
- Why: to answer your enquiry, send the audit and deliver the project.
- How long: enquiries without a project 12 months, projects as the law requires.
- Cookies: no tracking or advertising cookies. That is why there is no cookie banner.
- Your rights: write any time and I will show, correct or delete your data.
1. Who is responsible
The controller is Petr Jeřábek, a sole trader operating as Jeřábek Studio, based in Olomouc, Czech Republic. For anything about personal data, write to [email protected]. I have not appointed a data protection officer, as the law does not require me to.
2. What I process, why and on what basis
| Situation | Data | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Enquiry by form or e-mail | name, e-mail, phone (optional), what you are interested in, your message | replying and preparing a quote | steps at your request before a contract — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR |
| Free website audit | your website address, e-mail | preparing and sending the audit | Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR |
| Client project | billing and contact details, our communication, any access you entrust to me | performing the contract, invoicing | contract — (b); accounting and tax duties — (c) |
| Protecting legal claims | contract, communication, documents | defence in a possible dispute | legitimate interest — (f) |
| Running the website | technical server logs (IP address, time, browser type) | security and reliability | legitimate interest — (f) |
Providing data is voluntary. Without an e-mail or phone number, however, I cannot reply, and without billing details I cannot issue an invoice. I do not ask for sensitive data (health, beliefs and the like) — please do not send it.
3. How long I keep it
- Enquiries and audits that did not become a project: 12 months from the last message, then deleted.
- Projects: for the duration of our cooperation and 3 years after it ends (limitation period).
- Accounting and tax records: 10 years, as required by law.
- Technical server logs: 30 days at most [to verify with the provider].
4. Who else has access
Only the processors the website and e-mail cannot work without, each bound by a data processing agreement:
- Cloudflare — website hosting and protection against attacks.
- Cloudflare and Seznam.cz — receiving and forwarding mail on the domain, and the mailbox where I read it.
- Accountant — billing details from projects only.
I never sell data or pass it on for marketing. I disclose it to authorities only when the law obliges me to.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Cloudflare is a company based in the USA, and part of the processing may take place outside the EU. The transfer is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. I do not transfer data anywhere else.
6. Cookies and analytics
The website stores no tracking or advertising cookies and loads no advertising scripts. Fonts are served from my own server, not a third party. The only thing kept in your browser is a technical note that you have already seen the opening animation; it disappears when you close the window and is never sent anywhere.
Visits are measured anonymously — without cookies, without storing IP addresses and with no way of identifying an individual [tool to be named at launch].
7. Automatic replies and decisions
After you submit a form you receive an automatic confirmation. It is only an e-mail with a summary — nothing is decided by it. I do not use your data for profiling or for decisions made without a human; I read and handle every enquiry personally.
8. How I protect the data
The website runs exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only I have access to the mail and project files [to confirm: accounts protected by two-factor sign-in]. Any access you entrust to me is returned or deleted once the project is finished.
9. Your rights
- Access — ask what data I hold about you and receive a copy.
- Rectification — have inaccurate data corrected or incomplete data completed.
- Erasure — have data deleted when I no longer need it or may not keep it.
- Restriction — for example while we establish whether the data is correct.
- Portability — receive the data in a common machine-readable format.
- Objection — to processing that I base on legitimate interest.
Just write to [email protected]. I reply without undue delay, within 30 days at the latest, and free of charge.
10. Where to complain
If you feel I am not handling your data properly, please write to me first — I will gladly put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.gov.cz.
11. Changes to this text
When the way I work with data changes, I will update this text and state the new date. Effective from [launch date].
